Pork Chop Supreme
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 4 thinly sliced medium potatoes
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup oil for browning
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a medium casserole dish.
Brown the Pork Chops: - Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the pork chops on both sides, then drain any excess oil.
Prepare the Casserole: - Slice the potatoes into thin, even layers and place them in the casserole dish.
- Arrange the browned pork chops on top of the potatoes.
Make the Sauce: - In a bowl, mix together the Lipton onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops in the casserole dish.
Bake: - Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the top.
