Healthy Banana Oat Cookies (No Sugar, No Flour!)

A naturally sweet, wholesome treat made with simple ingredients—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or guilt-free desserts!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup raisins or chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans work great!)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks (e.g. Lily’s brand – sugar-free)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the applesauce, almond milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
  4. Mix in the oats, raisins or nuts, and chocolate chunks. Stir until everything is evenly distributed. The dough will be thick and sticky.
  5. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon for a cookie shape.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cookies are firm to the touch.
  7. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days!

Tips & Variations:

  • Swap raisins for dried cranberries or chopped dates for variety.
  • Store extras in the fridge or freeze them for longer shelf life.
  • Want a bit more sweetness? Add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional).
