A naturally sweet, wholesome treat made with simple ingredients—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or guilt-free desserts!
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup raisins or chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans work great!)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks (e.g. Lily’s brand – sugar-free)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the applesauce, almond milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
- Mix in the oats, raisins or nuts, and chocolate chunks. Stir until everything is evenly distributed. The dough will be thick and sticky.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon for a cookie shape.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cookies are firm to the touch.
- Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days!
Tips & Variations:
- Swap raisins for dried cranberries or chopped dates for variety.
- Store extras in the fridge or freeze them for longer shelf life.
- Want a bit more sweetness? Add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional).
