Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 large bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the fruit cocktail, crushed pineapple, and cherry pie filling to the bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Fold in the banana slices carefully (to avoid mushiness).
  5. If using, stir in the mini marshmallows and chopped pecans.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to blend and the salad to chill properly.

Serving Tips:

  • Serve cold in a glass bowl or dessert cups.
  • Garnish with a cherry, extra pecans, or a dollop of Cool Whip if desired.
