Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 pound beef stew meat
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 8 oz egg noodles (or your favorite noodles)
• 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for creaminess)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Season the beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear until browned on all sides.
3. Pour in the French onion soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the beef is tender.
5. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
6. Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture. Stir to combine. If you want a creamier texture, stir in the sour cream.
7. Simmer for a few minutes to let the flavors meld. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
