INGREDIENTS:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked crab meat, finely chopped
1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
24 wonton wrappers
Oil for frying
Sweet chili sauce, for dipping
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper until well combined.
Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then bring the corners together and twist to seal, forming a “bomb.”
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the crab bombs in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
