Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs

Smoky, cheesy, and finger-licking good — these bacon-wrapped BBQ bombs are the ultimate party appetizer or dinner indulgence. Juicy ground beef seasoned with garlic and onion powders surrounds a molten cheddar cheese center, all wrapped in crispy bacon and brushed with sweet BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 8–10 slices of bacon (thin cut works best for crisping)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for dipping)

Basic Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Take a small handful of beef mixture, flatten it, and place a cube of cheddar in the center. Shape into a ball around the cheese.
  4. Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, tucking or securing ends with toothpicks.
  5. Brush with BBQ sauce.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bacon is crisp and meat is cooked through.
  7. Brush with extra BBQ sauce in the last 5 minutes for a glossy glaze.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
