Melty. Meaty. Totally mouthwatering.
This wrap is everything you love about nachos — cheesy beef, bold spices, and all the toppings — wrapped up in a soft, toasty tortilla. Easy to make, even easier to devour.
Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 packet taco seasoning mix
• ½ cup water
• 4 large flour tortillas
• 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 cup shredded lettuce
• 1 cup chopped tomatoes
• ½ cup crushed tortilla chips (for crunch!)
• ½ cup sour cream (optional)
• Pickled jalapeños (optional, for heat)
• Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Brown the beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Season it up:
Add taco seasoning and ½ cup water to the beef. Stir well and simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened and flavorful. Remove from heat.
3. Warm the tortillas:
Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft and pliable. This makes wrapping much easier!
4. Assemble the wrap:
Lay out a tortilla and layer as follows:
• A generous spoonful of seasoned beef
• A drizzle (or pour!) of warm nacho cheese
• Shredded lettuce
• Chopped tomatoes
• Crushed tortilla chips (for that nacho crunch!)
• A dollop of sour cream and a few jalapeños (if using)
5. Wrap it up:
Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom to the top like a burrito.
6. Toast (optional but amazing):
Place the wrap seam-side down in a hot skillet or panini press for 2–3 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
7. Serve hot & enjoy:
Slice in half, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, and serve with extra nacho cheese or salsa on the side.
Tips & Variations:
• Swap ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat
• Add black beans or corn for extra filling
• Spice it up with hot sauce or chipotle mayo
• Make it a bowl instead of a wrap if you’re going low-carb!
