Cheesy Garlic Bread Shrimp Grilled Cheese

The ULTIMATE shrimp melt — buttery, cheesy, garlicky, and totally addictive.

This isn’t just a grilled cheese… it’s a full-on flavor bomb. Imagine crispy golden garlic bread, loaded with juicy shrimp and melty cheese — the kind of sandwich that makes you say “Why haven’t I made this sooner?!”

It’s giving next-level comfort food vibes, and yes — it’s 100% better than takeout.

Ingredients:

• ½ lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)

• 2 garlic cloves (minced)

• 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

• Salt & pepper to taste

• ¼ tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)

• 4 slices of thick bread (like sourdough or brioche)

• 1 cup mozzarella (shredded)

• ½ cup cheddar (shredded)

• ¼ cup softened butter

• 1 tbsp chopped parsley

• ½ tsp garlic powder (for the butter spread)

Let’s make it:

1. Garlic butter magic:

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and parsley. This is what makes the outside of your bread taste like garlic bread — trust the process.

2. Shrimp sizzling moment:

Heat olive oil or butter in a pan. Add the shrimp, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked. Give it a lil squeeze of lemon juice if you’re feeling fancy.

3. Build the masterpiece:

Spread your garlic butter mix on one side of each bread slice. On the other side (the inside), layer:

• A handful of mozzarella

• A scoop of that juicy shrimp

• A sprinkle of cheddar

• Then top with the second slice of bread, buttered side out

4. Toast to perfection:

Place the sandwich in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Press it down gently and toast 3–4 minutes per side until the outside is crispy and golden, and the cheese is ooey-gooey inside.

5. Slice, serve & devour:

Cut it in half, watch the cheese pull, and try not to eat the whole thing before your photo finishes uploading.

Serving Tips (Optional but Vibes):

• Dip in spicy mayo or marinara

• Add arugula or spinach for a fresh twist

• Serve with sweet potato fries or a side salad for a full meal

• Make it a brunch thing with a fried egg on top — trust me!
