Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (optional, for brushing)
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (8×8 or 9×9 works best).
  2. Prepare the Bottom Crust
Unroll half of the crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Pinch seams together if needed.
  3. Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough layer.
Unroll the remaining dough and carefully place it on top, pressing seams together.
  5. Optional Topping
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for a sweet crunch.
  6. Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly puffed.
  7. Cool & Serve
Let it cool for about 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or chilled—both ways are amazing!

Tips & Variations:

  • Add a swirl of jam or pie filling (cherry, blueberry, or strawberry) inside with the cream cheese layer.
  • Drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on top after baking for extra indulgence.
  • Double the recipe and bake in a 9×13 pan if serving a crowd.
