Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs
Smoky, cheesy, and finger-licking good — these bacon-wrapped BBQ bombs are the ultimate party appetizer or dinner indulgence. Juicy ground beef seasoned with garlic and onion powders surrounds a molten cheddar cheese center, all wrapped in crispy bacon and brushed with sweet BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
- 8–10 slices of bacon (thin cut works best for crisping)
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for dipping)
Basic Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Take a small handful of beef mixture, flatten it, and place a cube of cheddar in the center. Shape into a ball around the cheese.
- Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, tucking or securing ends with toothpicks.
- Brush with BBQ sauce.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bacon is crisp and meat is cooked through.
- Brush with extra BBQ sauce in the last 5 minutes for a glossy glaze.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
