Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp butter, melted (optional, for brushing)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (8×8 or 9×9 works best). - Prepare the Bottom Crust
Unroll half of the crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Pinch seams together if needed. - Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. - Assemble
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough layer.
Unroll the remaining dough and carefully place it on top, pressing seams together. - Optional Topping
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for a sweet crunch. - Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly puffed. - Cool & Serve
Let it cool for about 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or chilled—both ways are amazing!
Tips & Variations:
- Add a swirl of jam or pie filling (cherry, blueberry, or strawberry) inside with the cream cheese layer.
- Drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on top after baking for extra indulgence.
- Double the recipe and bake in a 9×13 pan if serving a crowd.
